Sussex Series: Jack and Jill Windmills (Small Print)
Fine Art Print, Matte Paper
Limited Edition of 250
One of my Sussex series of landscapes featuring the twin windmills that stand on the Downs above the village of Clayton in West Sussex. In the distance a pale silhouette of The Chattri War Memorial can just be seen. While the two landmarks are not within sightline of each other in real life, the two landmarks are connected by a series of paths and bridleways which link the two sites.
This image was created from a high-quality digital photograph of the original work on glass, giclée printed on Archival matte paper and using Archival inks to ensure colour quality and light-fastness. The printed image is 13cm x13cm.
Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and presented in an archival quality, custom-cut ivory coloured matte with a backing board. A numbered and signed certificate of authenticity is included. Matted size is 22cm (h) x 21cm (w) x 0.3cm (d).
About this Series
My Sussex series celebrates the landscapes and landmarks of East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton and Hove. These are the places that are important to me, where I go alone for quiet time and to replenish my soul and where I take my family for summer picnics. Jack and Jill are the nearest of these landmarks to our home and is a favourite starting off point for walks all year round. Other works in the series feature Arundel Castle, Beachy Head Lighthouse, Bramber Castle, Brighton Pavilion, Brighton Pier, The Chattri Memorial, Cuckmere Meander, and the Fishermen's Huts of Hastings.
