Šestine to Dolac - Print (A2)
Fine Art Print, Gloss Paper
Limited Edition of 150
One from my series of paintings that celebrate the Medvednica mountains that rise behind Zagreb. The bears are a play on the Croatian word for bear, medvjed, and the bear kings and queens I that imagine might make the Medvedgrad castle their home if they were ever given the chance. This painting also features (clockwise from the left) the blue roofed church of Šestine, the Medvedgrad castle visible from the same church, another church on Tkalčićeva (the street of a hundred cafes), and the red, rainbow-edged umbrellas which dominate the Dolac fruit and veg market in the centre of Zagreb.
About Limited Edition Prints
This image has been created from a high-quality digital photograph of an original work on glass, giclée printed on A2 Archival gloss paper on a horizontal alignment, using Archival inks to ensure colour quality and light-fastness. I have chosen to use gloss paper for my larger Fine Art Prints as it allows for greater colour saturation in the printing process, better recreating the depth and detail of the original artwork on glass.
Each print edition is signed and numbered by the artist, comes with a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity, and arrives with a customised label for future framing purposes.
This item is delivered unframed and ships rolled in a cardboard tube.
