The Association of British Naïve Artists (ABNA) was formed in 2002 by Peter Denham and Mervyn Clingan, following an article on naïve art that Peter wrote for the magazine Artist & Illustrator the previous year. The group now has 90 members from across Britain working in a range of media, from paint to fabric. Many of the members have works featured in the ABNA online gallery and exhibit their work across the UK and internationally. I was very pleased to become a member in 2016.
Below are some of the photos I took while visiting their exhibition in Chichester over the summer of 2016.
