That Alice Girl
This is a series of paintings which evolved over several years and were exhibited first as part of my 2015 solo exhibition in London titled Through a Looking Glass. They feature a number of girl adventurers who were not intended to be the same girl, but in the end became a single character questing through looking glass landscapes: embodying the open-eyed wonder of my seven year old self while doubling as an Alice-like guide through the lands of my imagination.
