   Blank paper and close up of working sketch. Painting begins with my signature followed by white and yellow highlights. Bee's stripes required three layers of paint, and irises are on second coat of purple. The stars are added one at a time using a cocktail stick. Pausing to check the work from the front.    Letting the paint dry and then adding in the background. Most of my painting is done using a 10x0 brush, however the background is blended using a 4 brush cut at a 45 degree angle. The final work. All boxed up for the buyer....

I begin by signing my name backwards. Fine lining the highlights of Alice's hair.    Adding in hair and first splash of red.    The painting side and reversed to check on how it looks from the front. Adding a second layer of paint to Alice's legs.    Looks like someone's been nosing around in the brushes.    Adding the nautilus, backing the waves and adding in the high seas.    Unexpectledly blowing bubbles and adding in a tail fin.
