Rendezvous West Dean Triptych: Exhibition and Artist Talk at West Dean
As part of the Outside In Exploring Collections Course at West Dean College this spring I was expected to create new work in response to my research. I thought I'd aim small. I am pleased to announce that my "Storm in a Teacup" has been short listed for the Laura I Gallery's "I am a woman and this is my legacy" exhibition opening the 4th and running through the 19th of October. The Laura I Gallery won the Community Business of the Year FSB Award for London in 2018 and this exhibition is a celebration of female art across mediums, genres, and subject matter. ABNA Summer Exhibition
The Association of British Naïve Artists (ABNA) held it's annual Summer Exhibition in St. Ives, Cornwall, during August and September of 2017. Through a Looking Glass
In 2014 I was invited by the British Croatian Society in London to prepare a solo exhibition to run from 19 - 27 April 2015 as part of their Creative Croatia season. As I worked on the paintings, they evolved and a single, blonde haired girl seemed to have a mind of her own about them. In the end I called her Alice and the exhibition Through a Looking Glass came to be. The key paintings from this series are shown below, along with the original postcard advertising the exhbition.
